For me reading helps to connect with the higher self!! A soul fragment arrives at reading which we need to receive and welcome....
Being able to empathize with a group of characters written on a page is categorical and from a students' perspective a necessary skill.
This is the power that words have and they outlive their speaker.
Also, creativity is that common language we can all learn to communicate our passions and ideas with... This platform helps us to build our skillset, give new networking opportunities, build our self-confidence!
In this edition of Amalgam 2019, we bring to you new hope, knowledge and inner awakening!!
Get out there and get involved!

Literature, to me, has always been fascinating which drove me to compose my own poetry. I have always been an avid reader since childhood. Starting with Chacha Chaudhary, Tinkle, Hitavada twinkle, then school magazines, I was always fond of reading them. I feel privileged to be a part of the team of our college magazine AMALGAM 2019.

Even though I am a dentist by profession, I’ve always known it in my heart that I wanted to write. It gives me the liberty to express whatever I feel regardless of the emotion and AMALGAM is exactly that. It gives students the opportunity to showcase whatever they feel, in any field possible - art, photography, literature and much more. There is much more to a person than the profession they’re pursuing and AMALGAM is the best platform for us students to showcase their virtuosity and what they’re passionate about. It was definitely a very exciting yet humbling experience to work for something that encapsulates so much talent. AMALGAM 2019 is a result of perseverance put up by a team of creative individuals and I am glad I got the opportunity to be a part of this creation.

I have always been intrigued by language.
With a spontaneous spur of the moment, I said yes to be a part of Team ‘Amalgam’
College magazine is a like huge canvas where the students get to throw in all the paint that they have.
The team has come up with such unique categories that help the students to explore their skills at literature, photography and a host of other things.
I would like to Thank Dr. Shenoi sir for giving me an opportunity to work with this exceptional and vibrant team members and making this magazine see the light of the day.
We hope you enjoy reading as much as we have enjoyed making it.

Being a right brain dominant person, art and creativity have always paved my way. Teen or adult, ethnic or western, colourful or grayscale, art has no such barriers; it twists your world three dimensionally and brings out the Best in You. AMALGAM is one such platform that magnifies your hidden talent and help you build up a staircase towards your dream.

As life will always keep on getting busy, it’s important to make time to do the things you really love.
In this workaholic domain, the post-graduates in our campus were delighted to share their perceptions in various fields of artistry and literature by means of this wonderful magazine.
It was indeed an amazing experience as a PG Co-Ordinator to encounter and work with such super-talented and proficient people.
I hope that the readers enjoy this ‘Amalgamation’ of innovative ideas and creativity!
